The Yukon Fish and Wildlife Management Board recommended the Yukon Wolf Conservation and Management Plan to the Yukon government in December 2011. It was formally approved in May 2012.
Yukon Wolf Conservation and Management Plan 2012 is part of the Government of Yukon’s
ongoing commitment to promote the sustainable use of wildlife resources.
The Yukon Fish and Wildlife Management Board and the Government of Yukon worked through 2011 to develop the new plan.
This was the first broad public review of the plan since it was released in 1992.
